Umoja University Hosts Book Club Gathering #3 on September 16

The Umoja Community Education Foundation will host the third Umoja University Book Club gathering on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 12 p.m. This session will cover chapters 5 and 6 of Dr. Bettina Love's award-winning book entitled "We Want to Do More Than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom." Umoja Launches First Book Club

The Umoja Community Education Foundation is proud to announce the Umoja University Book Club! We're inviting you to join a community of intellectuals to celebrate the literary work of some of the world's more renowned thinkers. This book club will feature literary work from African American authors whose writings have shifted our collective thought and powered the movements for social justice, academic equity, and much more.
